Meet the beautiful expectant mamas of Clarks Quarter Horses. Ole Grey, Casey, Ruby, Poppy, and Dolly are the heart of our ranch and part of our permanent program. While these ladies are not for sale, we invite you to follow their journeys as they await their new arrivals. We can’t wait to see the incredible talent these matriarchs produce this foaling season. Ole Grey
Ole Grey is a grade broodmare that we purchased a few years ago. She has produced several babies here on the farm. She is easy going and built thick and right just how you want a ranch horse to be. Her babies sell grade but are out of our registered Stallion. She is a beautiful flea bit grey mare and is around 14.2 hands and 1000 lbs.

Blazen Casey (Casey)
Blazen Casey, known to us as Casey, is a 2008 model sorrel Broodmare. Casey is AQHA registered and carries some Leo Fly and Jacks Spur Two on her papers. We purchased Casey as a broodmare several years ago. Casey is easy to handle and throws outstanding colts. She has thrown 2 beautiful stud colts for us. Casey is a large mare, 15 hands tall and 1150 lbs.

Pocosbluespirit (Ruby)
Ruby is a 2018 Model Buckskin color Broodmare. Ruby is AQHA registered and carries a lot of Poco Bueno and Blue Valentine bloodlines. Ruby met all expectations on the ranch prior to earning her status as momma. Ruby was used for ranch and cattle work and showed the right mindset and temperament to continue to broodmare statues. Ruby stands near 15 hands tall and is 1100 lbs. She threw us 2 beautiful buckskin fillies and 1 bay roan filly. All her colts have been gentle, straight and easy to work with our buyers reported.

CC Smart Little Dyno (Poppy)
CC Smart Little Dyno, known to us as Poppy, is a 2021 model bay roan Broodmare. Poppy is AQHA registered and is a granddaughter to Peppy from Heaven, sired by Smart Little Lena. Poppy met all expectations on the ranch prior to earning her status as momma. Poppy was used for ranch and cattle work and showed the right mindset and temperament to continue to broodmare statues. Poppy is one of our smaller framed mares at 14 hands and 900 lbs. This year’s 2026 baby will be her first colt.

HC Golden China Doll (Dolly)
HC Golden China Doll, known to us as Dolly, is a 2015 model palomino Broodmare. Dolly is AQHA registered and goes back to Whimpressive and Sucha Fistful. We purchased Dolly as a broodmare just last year. She is thick and built right for all aspects of cattle, ranch, and arena work. This year will be our first colt out of her.

Peppy Jay (Peppy)
Peppy Jay, also known to us as Peppy, is a 2006 model red roan Broodmare. Peppy is AQHA registered and is a granddaughter to the world famous Smart Little Lena. Peppy has been a center stone around our breeding program producing multiple talented babies. She is the dam to Poppy. Peppy is smaller framed around 14 hands and 900 lbs. Peppy is available for purchase and has been left open for breeding.

Freckles Trademark (Sunny)
“Freckles Trademark,” known to us as Sunny, is a 2017 palomino broodmare. She is AQHA registered and has the legends Sun Frost and Colonel Freckles on her papers. Sunny was purchased from the Sugar Bars Legacy Sale in Sheridan, Wyoming and has met every expectation on the ranch. She has been used for ranch and cattle work and showed the right mindset and temperament to earn broodmare status. Sunny is still used today for ranch work, and we plan to breed her again in 2027.
